Winter’s Feral Waters

Winter’s Feral Waters

O’ river rise
as meadows seep ,
cleansed by purging
tempest skies downpour

The gifts of azure clouds
drawn by gravity’s gathering spell

The pathless woods’ music ,

melting snowflakes metamorphosis ,
babbling raindrops trickle ,
the rising creek starts to sing
concealed by the wind's rhythmic roar
swaying with nature’s thrum

Sloped hill looking down
through the pathless fields feral flow

Roll on eternally coursing
unto erosion sculpted shorelines'
timeless evolving form

Surrendering river banks conform
to untamed waters’ carved margins

Bequeathed waters overflow freely
seeking to rejoin sublime wild waves ,
awaiting mother ocean’s boundless play …
